Mel Arnold, President - Recieved a BS in Business Administration from Marian College in Indianapolis (1976) and studied Electricial Engineering Technology at IUPUI. Mel started full time with the company in May of 1976 calling on the REA/Municipial accounts. Today his responsibilities are the Investor Owned Utilities of Duke Energy, IPL, NIPSCO and Vectren. He also has the account responsibility of WESCO Utility.
Jeff Terrell, Sales Engineer - Jeff came to C.D. Arnold Co., Inc. after 21 years with E&C Supply/Reed City Power Line Supply. The last 12 years as the inside salesman for northern Indiana. Jeff handles the REA/Municipial accounts for C.D Arnold Co. Inc., the utility distributors, as well as helping in the transition of I&M Division of AEP.
Don Dennis, Sales Engineer - Don took early retirement from Indiana Michigan (I&M) in 1991 and came to C.D. Arnold Co., Inc. the next week. Don has filled many roles at CDA but in recent years handled the I&M account.
Colleen Short, Office Manager - In 2009 Colleen celebrated 18 years with C.D. Arnold Co. Inc. Handling the day to day operations of the office, Colleen does quotes, takes orders, checks on deliveries and answers most first touch questions. She has visited plants and really knows her stuff!
Araxy Basmajijan, Bookkeeper - Araxy not only keeps the books but fills in for Colleen on the phone when needed.
C.D. "Cal" Arnold, founder - After serving in the Navy during WWII, Cal recieved his Electricical Engineering degree from Purdue University in 1950. He then worked in the plant engineering department at Western Electric in Indianapolis before going to work for Col. C.E. Chatfield, a manufactureres representative. Col. Chatfield died suddenly and in 1955 Cal started C.D. Arnold Co., Inc. with just three lines. Cal was active in the business until 2005.
